Who Am I?
Hi. I'm the voice in your head! Thanks to my guidance, you'll never be lost in this wild, dazzling melting-pot of a city.
What's that? Who am I? I'm that Sintaran pretending to sleep in the waiting area of this grand post office. I'm actually listening. And projecting my voice to you. Don't worry, it's not spying if you have no other choice!
Who am I really? Gods, you're persistent. I'm Email––Em for short. I'm a Weaveborn citizen, born and raised in the Grand Spirit's own neighbourhood of Little Sintar (great food, by the way), but my parents were war refugees from Kaluuth on the planet Kiratu. I'm a courier by day, but by night... well, you'll see.
There's a dashing portrait of me. Wei is great at these. Ask them about their art next time you see them around!
Who Am I Really?
There's the version of me who prowls a fantastical city, the one with sharp ears and a long tail. Then there's the other version.
- My name is Wren, short for Wrench, but I mostly go by Whey online, short for Whey Isolate.
- My pronouns are they/she.
- I live in Rhode Island, USA, where I'm also studying for an undergraduate degree.
- In my free time I like making all kinds of art, doing creative writing, stitching, taking public transit, bicycling, occasionally community organizing, and spending time with my wonderful queer friends whom I live for.
- I have a very large collection of houseplants, physical media, and homemade alt clothing/accessories. They clog up my apartment. Badly.
What Is This Place?
This is my personal website! Crafted by hand from raw HTML, CSS and JavaScript, this is my home on the internet and the hub of all my personal work. It is always under construction, but has full mobile support and is responsive on most devices.
This site is laid out as the metro system of a fictional city, and you navigate it by selecting stations on the map above. Each station leads to a different page, and each page contains a sidebar that allows you to quickly navigate between stations on the same line. The system map can be accessed any time using the Routes tab attached to the header of each page.
If you want a faster and less confusing way to get around, there is also a Stations tab alongside the Routes tab, which shows a handy list of every station in the system as well as their actual content (e.g.) Home, About, Blog, etc.
Also, another tip: everything in pink can be interacted with!
